• Was a semi finalist at South African Fashion Week Elle New Talent Show Competition in 2002.
•  In May 2003 David started working from home running a design studio.
• Currently consulting for House of Monatic since September 2005 as head designer for Carducci Woman Range to be launched soon into Stuttafords stores in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
•  Nominated to be one of the Five Top South African designers to design the Canderel pocket sash (2006).
